wormy
http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=641348 I love little gems in the middle like this: Bit of an over-glorification of Connor but true. So he went over the top in his description of Wickham, but he was spot on about the 'mackem way'.

Sima
http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=641382 Second and third in the table, I'd say it's happened. Plus we never put up anything like a fight when we play them. I'm still hoping for a Busby Babes type disaster which forces them to play James Perch up front. Even then they'd still probably beat Everton on Saturday. You stay classy Sunderland.

Every neutral football fan in England with an ounce of sense would take Cabaye and Tiote over them two, yet they're saying they would rather have a player who got relegated with Blackpool last year than a player who captained Lille to the Ligue 1 title and captained them in the champions League. Dr.Spaceman
Give it a couple of injuries or if Ranger et al get banged up for one thing or another, and Newcastle will start to slide. Tiresias
Tbh I thought Vaughn would be a great signing for them. Brucie seems to have the ability to coax the worst out of his players. Wouldn't swap for either Tiote or Cabaye anyway. Maybe for Gosling.
Dave
I hope they get annihilated at Old Trafford tbh. Ferguson wouldn't do it to Bruce though.

Ketsbaia
15 point gap if we win and they lose at Old Trafford. But if they draw, its still a massive 14 points with the bonus of being 2nd for two weeks. Yet I still want Man United to demolish them.

Anderson
Funniest thing about them beating Man U and us beating Everton would be that despite it being by far the best result they'd get all season, most of them would be absolutely gutted at having helped us up to second place. Of course it'll never happen like, they're on a hiding to nothing being the first team to visit Old Trafford since the City game.
