We get a tight owner who gets us relegated which turns out to be the perfect way to get rid of our heartless, gutless, expensive wanker players. Sells our local hero, still spends bugger all, we pick up some lad with a dodgy knee on a free and he goes on to be one of the most prolific strikers in the league. We pick up a bunch of players on the cheap because they are bit part (Tiote), have a clause (Cabaye, Williamson), have fallen away a bit (Santon) and they all perform brilliantly leading to us crawling back up the league and looking a real challenge to a top 7 spot within 2 years of said relegation. Then after days/weeks of strong speculation linking them to one of the most goal hungry forwards in Europe, only literally minutes after discussions about how he is better than Ba and how good it will be in their side breaking news comes through he is flying in for a Newcastle medical then later that night he signs for us. Still think he'll do ok there, but think he's a manager with an upper limit of what he will achieve with his disdain for tactics he'll end up one dimensional. He's got them playing well though already and suspect they'll have an alright season, and next year may be pretty good. Can't rely on them blowing all the money. I wouldn't trust the fucker with my chequebook mind. He was given total control at Villa and threw a huff when Randy wouldn't give him all the Milner money to spend.
