Dave
Would be a cracking move IMO. Looks a quick, talented player when I see him.
TRon
Sturridge and Ireland would be two excellent additions to the squad if we got them. Would take my hat off to Pardew if it happens.
AyeDubbleYoo
Would be a cracking move IMO. Looks a quick, talented player when I see him. Yep, he's quality, they won't let him go unless they sign another forward though IMO. The Aguero move seems pretty unlikely.
EthiGeordie
How reliable the link with Elmander?
Broadsword
How reliable the link with Elmander? Not very, one report said we would offer £12m.
Guest Stephen927
Sturridge is pacey and a bit of a handful, but like Ranger he has no composure in front of goal. Sturridge in on loan and Ranger out on loan would be good. Sturridge is ahead of Ranger in his development, and Ranger would get that loan move a lot have been calling for. Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
Sturridge would be a fairly good addition imo. From what I've seen, fairly pacey, agile, bit of a handful.
gdm
skysports transfer centre, nothing new really 3:49 @SkySportsbucko: Newcastle manager Alan Pardew is confident of adding more faces to his squad before the end of the transfer window. Aston Villa midfielder Stephen Ireland is one target for the Magpies.

Fenham Mag
Adrian Mutu Metro http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/football/853812-adrian-mutu-linked-with-shock-premier-league-return-at-newcastle My favourite player to play for Chelsea in the Premier league, his goal when he hit a free kick with right foot and then scored the rebound off the wall with left was awesome. May have been the other way round. Edit: It was his first goal for them , just watched it on youtube and is even better than i remembered.

mrmojorisin75
Mutu spells trouble and is getting older, leave it. Aye, but is he free and/or desperate? You're missing the key selling points here.
EthiGeordie
I don't want him....

Espio
Aye, Ban ran out October 29th last year. Fuck that, getting caught/banned twice for drugs. More trouble than it's worth tbh.

Kaizero
I'd take Mutu on a two year deal with low basic wage + goal/app bonuses.
Guest bmoregeordie
Sturridge would be a fairly good addition imo. From what I've seen, fairly pacey, agile, bit of a handful. agreed. while he isn't the one who finishes a lot, he always seems to be the one causing trouble for the defense. i'd gladly take him. TBG
Mutu wouldnt be able to make it past customs.
Carlito
Mutu and Carroll could actually be a pretty good partnership. Would probably bring a load of bad press with him but I'd definitely prefer him over the likes of Shola and Lovenkrands. For the record I'd take Ireland on loan as well as we all know what he's capable of on the pitch.
Ronaldo
Complete non-starter. Great player, though. Take him in an eyeblink.
