Village Idiot
Did Becchio ever make a senior appearance for us? Need to check. Always looked quite s*** in our B team to be frank. EDIT: Seems he didn't.
QBG
Snodgrass isn't really a 'winger' as such. He's a creative force who likes to drift. Top player who'd do a good job at PL level. I've been wanting us to sign him and Becchio for years now. In agreement, aside from the Becchio bit, I'm not a fan, though I'll admit he's had a good season. Snodgrass is slow but uses craft and guile to beat his man and it generally works. I wouldn't mind Gradel, who is essentially, Routledge but you know, good. Cajun
Routledge is good in the championship too.

Ronaldo
Becchio would make an excellent squad player. Great attitiude, runs his bollocks off and has real quality with his feet and head.
Yorkie
Never got why you're such a big fan of Becchio. I think he's as bog-standard as they come. Token target man.
Ronaldo
That's not him at all.
JH
Must admit, I like Becchio too. Dunno if he could make the step up to the PL, but I wouldn't mind seeing him try.
Guest magpie99
Gradel is OK but I would rather have Scott Sinclair from Swansea.

Punk77
Becchio would make an excellent squad player. Great attitiude, runs his bollocks off and has real quality with his feet and head. He's actually not that great flicking through with his head, but he's lethal inside the box. Gradel is too unstable. As Magpie 99, I prefer Sinclair from Swansea

All my in-laws are Leeds fans and insist he's found his level in the Championship.
LooneyToonArmy
Gradel is OK but I would rather have Scott Sinclair from Swansea. don`t recall Sinclair making much of an impact when he was at Wigan and Birmingham mind....canny goal record in the Championship though. Guest schmuck
Becchio would make an excellent squad player. Great attitiude, runs his bollocks off and has real quality with his feet and head. I've often thought the same, I'm not sure how anyone can say he's 'found his level' when he's never played at a higher one in this country?
Hanshithispantz
I cannot see Becchio been any better than Best tbh, who idealy will be a squad player next season
ATB
Seem a few pages were we is rumored to be looking at Riise. Can´t believe that, he is crap, surly Pardew think so - I think that he thinks so just thought it was important to share it to you guys...
Guest magpie99
I would imagine the Riise talk is just the press putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with the wrong answer again. Risse doesnt fit the club age or salary structure requirements. I personally would like us to sign Van Aanholt from Chelsea. That is, if Ashley Cole doesnt shoot another trainee in the stomach
ATB
Van Aanholt would be a dream. doubt that though. Agrees with the Riise thing too
AyeDubbleYoo
Chelsea will be looking at Cole's long-term successor soon though won't they. Could be Van Aarnholt is in line for that.
ATB
“He is on the milk and steak diet, rather than the chicken and pasta, it is all about protein!" surly it just Pardew that makes such cracking comments :colo:

SUPERTOON
Van Aanholt would be a dream. doubt that though. Agrees with the Riise thing too Van Aanholt hasn't played enough to say he would be a dream signing. He looked decent in the championship, that's it. Not saying he won't be a good player but it is a bit far to say he is a dream.
Punk77
Routledge is a better player than Gradel. This Disagree. Have seen Leeds a couple of times. And I think Gradel is a better player. First of all, Gradel works like an idiot, second he's a decent finisher, with 12 goals as a winger/attacker. Routledge on the other hand shoots like a newborn. Third, Gradel is able to cross, which Routledge is totally incapable of. He's similar in Rouledge in that he tends to make football more difficult than it is sometimes. But overall, Gradel is a better player.
Lenny
Without the mental block that seems to prevent him from playing in the Premier League, Routledge always appeared to have a pretty decent delivery to me.
AyeDubbleYoo
I'm sure Routledge's problems in the Premier League are more mental than anything else, he's just not confident in this division.
