Ameritoon
I believe someone on here got in an argument with Ronaldo over Snodgrass being a lower league name, and not one capable of playing in the Premiership. Seems reasonable.
joeyt
I don't think I've ever seen a debate about Snodgrass without the mention of his 'lack of pace'. Is he really that slow?
womblemaster
snodgrass reminds me of the BFG and mangel worzels. its ok tho, I stopped wearing my wombles pyjamas, back in nov, so dont worry about me!
Chris_R
Solano and Beckham both lacked pace, but seemed to carve out reasonable top-flight careers. Know nothing about Snodgrass's ability mind, just saying lack of pace need not be a barrier to being a good winger.
colinmk
Snodgrass can't even get near the Jocks team. Eh? He came on in our last game...
ponsaelius
Snodgrass can't even get near the Jocks team. Eh? He came on in our last game... So he's made one appearance. As a sub. A few weeks ago. In a glorified friendly. Sorry mate, you're right, he's a seasoned regular. What an idiot I am for being so wide of the mark
Yorkie
Oof. Sewelly got one wrong. Dum dum dummm.

Ronaldo
Snodgrass isn't really a 'winger' as such. He's a creative force who likes to drift. Top player who'd do a good job at PL level. I've been wanting us to sign him and Becchio for years now.
Village Idiot
Did Becchio ever make a senior appearance for us? Need to check. Always looked quite s*** in our B team to be frank. EDIT: Seems he didn't.

I've been wanting us to sign him and Becchio for years now. In agreement, aside from the Becchio bit, I'm not a fan, though I'll admit he's had a good season. Snodgrass is slow but uses craft and guile to beat his man and it generally works. I wouldn't mind Gradel, who is essentially, Routledge but you know, good. Cajun
Routledge is good in the championship too.
ponsaelius
Routledge is a better player than Gradel.
Ronaldo
Becchio would make an excellent squad player. Great attitiude, runs his bollocks off and has real quality with his feet and head.
Yorkie
Never got why you're such a big fan of Becchio. I think he's as bog-standard as they come. Token target man.
Ronaldo
That's not him at all.
JH
Must admit, I like Becchio too. Dunno if he could make the step up to the PL, but I wouldn't mind seeing him try.
Guest magpie99
Gradel is OK but I would rather have Scott Sinclair from Swansea.

Punk77
Becchio would make an excellent squad player. Great attitiude, runs his bollocks off and has real quality with his feet and head. He's actually not that great flicking through with his head, but he's lethal inside the box. Gradel is too unstable. As Magpie 99, I prefer Sinclair from Swansea

All my in-laws are Leeds fans and insist he's found his level in the Championship.
LooneyToonArmy
Gradel is OK but I would rather have Scott Sinclair from Swansea. don`t recall Sinclair making much of an impact when he was at Wigan and Birmingham mind....canny goal record in the Championship though. Guest schmuck
Becchio would make an excellent squad player. Great attitiude, runs his bollocks off and has real quality with his feet and head. I've often thought the same, I'm not sure how anyone can say he's 'found his level' when he's never played at a higher one in this country?
Hanshithispantz
I cannot see Becchio been any better than Best tbh, who idealy will be a squad player next season
