Dokko
No idea why Mark Lawrence (money aside) commentates on football, he always sounds like he detests everything he's seeing and would much prefer be somewhere else strangling cats. is this mark lawrence the father of the co-comentator on the bbc ? The same, do you know him? No idea why Mark Lawrence (money aside) commentates on football, he always sounds like he detests everything he's seeing and would much prefer be somewhere else strangling cats. So bloody true. It's like Victor Meldrew commentating on the youths hanging about at the bottom of his street. Everything is so negative. It took till added on time in the second half for him to praise someone "that's a great save by the keeper!!!" then on replay "actually, i'm taking that back its not a great save"
Tooj
A rare moment of excellence. Well done. And why couldn't Geremi cross like that for us? Did you actually watch him play for us?
ponsaelius
The World Cup is f***ing s**** Not far off the mark tbh, there's been very little to shout about.
LooneyToonArmy
What I've learned today is that if Korea losing is a 10 on the sadness scale, Japan getting a win at the World Cup is a very solid 4. Tulio wasn`t too bad eh....where was Etoo? Good to see 2 Asian teams win as the so called underdogs.
Tachikoma
Japan were genuinely underdogs in terms of the personnel they had, compared to Cameroon. South Korea on the other hand :S
Ameritoon
A rare moment of excellence. Well done. And why couldn't Geremi cross like that for us? Did you actually watch him play for us? Yes, and everyone of his crosses and corners couldn't get by the first man bar a few moments of magic.
Doctor Zaius
Le Guen is a fool, an absolute fool. How he has ever achieved anything in football with decision making, stubbornness and general incompetence like that is beyond me.

Yes, and everyone of his crosses and corners couldn't get by the first man bar a few moments of magic. His crossing was very inconsistent, but at times he was the only player we had capable of putting a world class ball into the box.
oldtype
Ah well, Italy/Paraguay is certainly not worth a night's sleep. Off to bed. Van Persie and co. Better have their shooting boots on for the weekend, that's all I'm saying.

Had a look at the Italian squad last night, every single one plays in Italy but not one player from Inter in the squad - that's got to be some sort of record. Fenham Mag
Hope Italy serve out a severe beating to Paraguay tonight. Silence the critics and the mackems who are supporting Paraguay in protest. I'm expecting Gilardino to score a few goals but miss a few sitters. 3-1 Italy. I have also nicknamed him Berti after his triffic performances for me on FIFA WC on ps3. My point was more about no players from the current champions of that country.
