Sifu
Another solid performance from him (Imagine if he had scored that effort from 35 yards )
aussiemag
He was bought as a utility to play right back, centre back and centre mid. Hes very good at breaking up the play.
Skirge
Well done Turning out to be a VERY handy player for us
Pilko
He made one or two irritating passes but otherwise he was excellent. Full of energy and strong in the tackle, just did the simple things really well. Bit of a revival from him lately, great to see.
Newcastle Fan
Decent game, solid and was really good in the first half, cracking shot as well.
Guest JS
Credit where its due. Pretty damn decent today
Yorkie
Incredible how much our (previously) nothingish fringe players have improved under Pardew. Raylor, Perch, Guthrie, Best - all improved massively in the last twelve months.
Crumpy Gunt
Agree with JS. Credit where its due. Had a decent game today.
Anderson
Gave his all and that's all I ask for in a player. Him and Guthrie deserve massive credit for their performances today.
Dell Boi
Played really well today but fucking hell Villa gave him a lot of time on the ball I thought.

Guest bimpy474
Going to be slightly different against Ronnie Biggs team Saturday like.
Jill
Made a nuisance of himself in there, which is all can be expected of him. Offered us virtually nowt on the ball, but that's not his fault really. Well done. I was quite pleased to see him pass straight to Guthrie on several occasions rather than try anything too fancy himself.
cubaricho
Had a good match today. He was quiet which is a good thing, really broke up the play and kept things ticking on several occasions. He had a few good tackles at the end too.
Tisd09
Solid game for him. He's slowly becoming useful. Looked nervous at times on the ball which is to be expected, but today he didn't put the fear of God in to me.
JH
He's like the Williamson of the midfield.
Dinho lad
well, looks like dm is his best position by far. 2 quality performances in 4-5 days now.
Guest bimpy474
Perch and destroy tactics. Cant believe this got missed
ujpest doza
i thought him and Guthrie were outstanding today and i'd feared the worst due to their lack of pace. he looked very close with that shot in the 2nd half as well.
Guest Howaythetoon
I thought he was superb today, he won everything in the air, pinched a lot of balls and when he got it, quickly gave it to a team-mate. The one downside was that on the ball he didn't offer anything so we were effectively playing with a man short on the ball but as his job was to break and spoil play, he did his job perfectly. Ginola
Another decent game in the centre of the park today. Handy back up.
Guest neesy111
He's a much better midfielder than defender, probably because he doesn't have to track players as much as in defence.
Gallowgate Toon
I like him in midfield, good bit of DM cover. Done well of late, can't fault his attitude.
TRon
i thought him and Guthrie were outstanding today and i'd feared the worst due to their lack of pace. he looked very close with that shot in the 2nd half as well. Perch is really fast actually, although Guthrie isn't the quickest.
