Guest Recoba
Alongside Colo he may be able to do a job today. I don't think anyone sees him at the club long term though.

Just my personal opinion, if we want to improve then we can't rely on the likes of Perch really although having said that we will be letting the likes of Smith, Lovenkrands etc. go so Perch might yet stay purely for squad depth reasons

I suspect, as you later pointed out, that he'll continue to get time as a squad player and we'll keep him for next season (unless another team is actively recruiting our cast-offs). Is there a reason why you don't want us to have a squad? We can't have 25 first-choice players.
Sifu
Squad depth is important, it's just that we can probably do better than Perch in terms of a squad player. "Expecting" him to be sold was probably the wrong phrase to use. In any case, can't see him staying beyond his current contract.
Cajun
Done very well on the rare occasion he has been called upon (tidy block and good header back to Krul), not the most comfortable on the ball but put a couple of long balls on Best's head

James
A good Newcastle performance with James Perch on the pitch is when you hardly notice that James Perch is on the pitch.
Wil
Doing just fine, needs to keep it simple and he'll be ok.

Nordstrom
Better than Obertan so far. Seems confident and has made some good tackles and interceptions. Keep it up!

aussiemag
Did well defensively .. his long balls forward were an utter waste of posession though .. none of them amounted to anything

Cajun
I think he had 3 difficult situations to deal with (chasing Routledge down the wing, I think or it could have been Sinclair), putting a header back to Krul under a lot of pressure and putting in a really important block in the first half. He also did the basic well when required.
Dinho lad
kept up with Sinclair's pace well on an occasion.
Ginola
There were a few occasions he could've played simpler passes rather than playing it long so often, but overall he did what he had too quite well.
Guest
Seems to be competent as a centre-half. Happy to have him as 4th choice for the rest of the season if we sign a centre-back in January before offloading in the summer.
