Ronaldo
He's been betting on Man U to win games? He's an even bigger idiot than I thought! It this humour?

Ryan_Taylor
Dan Gosling could barely influence the result of a Sunday league game, let alone a champions league clash. Stupid rule.
merlin
Maybe he's been betting on how long NUFC will continue to keep paying bog-standard players like him....
loki679
I reckon the bookies have grassed him up. A bit sus that he only got the call after he started winning.
Nobody
I think footballers shouldn't be allowed to bet in their own league, but what's wrong except sheer stupidity and waste of money to bet on CL football or La Liga or w/e if you don't compete in those leagues? I would assume the thinking behind him not being allowed to bet on Man U in the CL is that say we play them the weekend before a CL clash, he might go in to injure or pull out of a challenge depending on the bet, or something like that. I know this is obviously very far fetched, especially considering he never even plays, but it's not completely without merit.
Ste
There has to be a complete ban on it or there will be too many margins for error. I hope others read what's happened to Gosling and learn from it.
Cajun
I reckon the bookies have grassed him up. A bit sus that he only got the call after he started winning. I doubt the bookies are going to turn away the sort of money a premier league player is betting because a few of them have come in.

henke
I'd love it if it came out later he was up by about £200k.
Cajun
30k equal two weeks wages? I reckon it's probably a weeks given the circumstances he joined us in.

timeEd32
So Twitter has released this fun tool to see people's first tweets - https://discover.twitter.com/first-tweet I'm quite proud of mine: Ed Clinton @EHClinton Follow I don't like to write off players, particularly when they don't play often, but what does Dan Gosling do exactly? #nufc 8:32 PM - 26 Sep 2012
themanupstairs
The one bright spot from yesterday's nightmare. Superb selection by Al Pards. Love those dinked forward balls out to the wingers. Really gives the ballboys a chance to see the opposition superstars close up (e.g. Evra) take a mean throw-in.

Guest palnese
He's the kind of midfielder we need, as he's capable of making runs into the box. Shame he's shite.

Pilko
He's a Pardew player alright. An utter carthorse, with no pace or technical ability who "puts a shift in". He'll get a move to a promoted team/top end Championship side.
r0cafella
Another "player" I use the term loosely who offers nothing on the books. Can anyone actually describe what this guys excels at?

Nothing at all. He's not even good at anything in particular either.
