Someone please tell me how we got to this point and what the chances fo him signing are. Basically Ben Arfa was told he was staying. Marseilles said our offer was non existant. He sais he would never play for them again. He got the plane to Newcastle without either club knowing and he is now in a Tyneside hotel! Dosn't get boring! Whilst in newcastle airport loungue waiting for the 11:55 flight to Paris this morning who should be in the lounge but Ben Arfa, and three other blokes. Could not get to close to him, he had security there but waved to his agent he waved back and stuck his thumb up. So he is now back in Paris.
