Translation :

For Obertan, Ben arfa isn’t a kid anymore

Obertan: “I think that everybody in France knows Hatem because he is one of the biggest French talents. I know his qualities and I’m not surprised to see what he can do.

I think that as a person, he has grown up, during his injury. When you have very serious injuries like he had, you think differently about football and about life in general.

Hatem is irreproachable. “He’s cool with his team-mates and the staff members. I’m happy he’s in my team when you see what he’s capable of”.

You can understand the points being made though.

Hes come to us as he wants to be influential and show what he can do in his preferred role, even if we are winning you can imagine hed get a bit personally impatient at staying on the bench for any long string of games or being used just as an impact player as at his previous clubs.

Seems still early for that though. Hopefully he'll impress quite quickly again & own a starting place easily. All it will take is for us to improve when hes on the pitch & that seems quite likely really. Depends on how our play adapts to using one striker instead of two.

HBA will be the first name on the team sheet in due course. AP is simply rewarding the team that has started so well which works well because he can ease him back to without having to rush him. Not sure why its even being discussed.

That it, its not like he has been dropped or anything, the lad has been injured for such a long time, this can happen when you are fit again and trying to get back into a winning side. As soon as he starts playing a few times from off the bench it won't take long before he will be starting every game.

Exactly. I understand the urge for him to be back (me included) but we just need to be patient. We'll be seeing him start everygame before long.

Agree with both, also nothing wrong with being cautious either given his injury and the relapse he had. Prefer to be sure he is 100% while backing the ones who started the season well.

Exactly thankfully we're not languishing at the bottom of the table unable to score goals and desperately throwing in a player who has been out for a ridiculous amount of time. Plus the mere fact that the likes of Ben Arfa, Marveaux and Santon are waiting in the wings is forcing the players in their positions in the first 11 to play at a high level because they know as soon as they don't they'll be out of the team. It's a win win really and we haven't really had any injury issues yet either (touches wood) which might take the decision making out of Pardew's hands.

Some people as Ian Wright says have just had a coffee and got a little over excited about all this and just need to calm down

The French journalist, who I had already talked you about, said on his blog that he's seen Hatem last week and that le looked very fit, very sharp.

He also said that Ben arfa had abdominal muscles now (lol), which was absolutely not the case before. It was really his weak spot.

If you don’t trust me, here’s the link:  http://fr.sports.yahoo.com/fo/pierrotlefoot/  (not sure you’ll understand all what it is said).

Good news if he’ll make the bench on Sunday (which is absolutely normal), perhaps he could bring you that.

PS: I’m only informing those who want news on Ben arfa.

No, it is not on a video.

This journalist often comes to tchat with the blog members and tell them news/stories about players.

He's good friend with Hatem.

Personally, I wouldn't have risked him in either the Blackburn or Wolves games unless we really needed him.

Good piece of news that. Hope he is back in his best form sooner rather than later. He should play a part if possible in the next games.
