Fenham Mag
I was talking to a bloke today and he said Tiote hasn't been seen for weeks at the club Mike really should pay the lecky bill.

morla84
"a bloke" Don't the club let the players do what they want when they are out injured or banned? Coloccini always pissing off to Argentina and stuff? Probably why we have so many injuries and poor disciplinary record
The College Dropout
I think we've missed Tiote this season. I mean, obviously he would be ahead of Jonas/Raylor which would be a massive boost but I think he has genuine leadership ability. He takes responsibility on a football pitch. It's probably his only redeemable feature.

I thought there was a possibility his form would improve, the he got injured.
TRon
Tiote has been a massive miss. But then when you've got Ryan Taylor starting in midfield you start to appreciate Cheick wasn't as bad as some made out here.

Twinport53
What even happened to him? I completely forgot about him to be honest. He's just.. disappeared Went to the AFCON didn't he? Got injured while out there, so we ruled him out for the season.
Disco
Derek Wright tried to perform a brain transplant on him using a spork and running shoe IIRC.
Guest chopey
I was talking to a bloke today and he said Tiote hasn't been seen for weeks at the club As I mentioned he is awol, but I think people were more concerned by the "bloke" issue than the fact that he hasn't been seen at the club for weeks and nobody seems to know where he is. Mole_Toonfan
Whether he stays or not I don't think he'll start considering McClaren didn't start him at Twente.
Deuce
Quite happy for us to sell this useless clogger tbh. It's a shame because I do believe he is a pretty good DM, if he's not tasked with doing anything but hold. After Cabaye left he looked hopeless in midfield. I don't think we're in any position to be losing players, but if we manage to flog him on for a decent price (God knows what that would be at this point), I'd be okay letting him walk. I don't think that has any bearing at all on it tbh, he was still establishing himself at the time.

I think he believed his own hype after his first season here. Failed to really build on his initial success and was found out. He was regularly giving away posession in dangerous areas 3 or 4 times a match, but still guaranteed a start when fit under Pardew.
