Cronky
A vintage, all-action performance from him tonight. The man's a machine. Wish he'd stop walking the ball out of defence though.

Sifu
Was back to his usual beast-like self tonight. Tremendous. Absolutely bossed the midfield alongside Yohan.
AyeDubbleYoo
Wish he would stop fucking up and giving the ball away so much, but generally very good tonight.
KaKa
Wish he would stop f***ing up and giving the ball away so much, but generally very good tonight. The thing is though he's at least one of the players who tries his utmost to keep the ball ont he ground and use it well, rather than just hoof it away needlessy. Does more good than bad with the ball the vast majority of the time. Class player.
Yorkie
Wish he'd stop walking the ball out of defence though. Wish people would drop deep or come inside when he walks the ball out of defense. I'd rather he do that and find a man... than just punt it and give the opposition the ball back.
madras
gave the ball away in the first few mins by holding on to it too long again and i thought here we go again but grew into the game and was a lot more tiote 2010-2011

Great point,he can actually pass really well but often the times he loses it are when he thinks he's got loads of time. It's a minor problem because he helps us to play football though
Fugazi
Loved it when he skinned Rooney.
Ikon
Colossal display, apart from some poor passes, which he has done more of lately, might be because of some rustyness still and our wingers poor movement off the ball, probably more the latter imo. But he showed some skills that made up for those few passes Interested clubs can fuck of. A giant.

johnnypd
he's always held onto the ball, tried to work his way past players or misplaced passes, but that's all part of his game. those things happen cos he always tried to bring the ball forward. if he wasn't doing that he;d be passing it back to Coloccini or the keeper most of the time like worse players at other clubs. most of the time he pulls it off very, very well. when he's not 100% concentrated or fit is when it becomes a bit of a problem, as it has been too often this season. personally though he was very good vs liverpool, and world class tonight. Tiresias
When he'd just come back on from sidelines for injury sprinted up pitch and caught Carrick (was it?) in possession just outside their box was glorious, or did I imagine that?
TRon
A vintage, all-action performance from him tonight. The man's a machine. Wish he'd stop walking the ball out of defence though. Ironically that is what makes him such a good player. Enrique was criticised for just that yet he's probably Liverpool's best signing under Dalglish. Heron
Best game of the season or him today. Could have taken on their midfield alone if he wanted.
madras
Best game of the season or him today. Could have taken on their midfield alone if he wanted. that may be going too far but tonight he was showing signs of what he was. also showing signs that he and cabaye are forming a partnership when defending....if they form one when we have the ball we will be a force.
