r0cafella
I'd rather Jonas learnt his coaching elsewhere personally.

NUFC
Think we've made a mistake releasing him. He's shown enough since returning to suggest he's capable of being a member of a squad that is without doubt going to be short of numbers next season. Thats before considering the positive influence and experience he will offer. Nah, he's been poor for a few years now
Mole_Toonfan
Contracts of Taylor, Williamson and Coloccini all expire in a year. Interesting. Can't wait.

He's shown enough since returning to suggest he's capable of being a member of a squad that is without doubt going to be short of numbers and quality next season. Thats before considering the positive influence and experience he will offer. Spot on,( with slight addition. ) We shouldn't be in a situation where keeping Jonas has much attraction. Unfortunately and disgracefully we are, due to mismanagement of the club. Seems stupid to get shot of the one player who has shown bottle, effort and anything approaching skill for months now. As we are so allergic to signing players, it begs the question who the fuck is going to play for us next season?!? Exactly
Mattoon
Future manager maybe? (Obviously not under fatty, that bridge is well and truly ashes.)
TRC
Dunno why we didn't do a charity match for him as a send off. Newcastle legends vs rest of the world.

Mattoon
A great servant to the club, did the best he could for us against huge adversity, but we all know what happens to fan favourites around here. Didn't deserve the treatment he received and can hold his head extremely high in how he dealt with that. Much in the same way as HBA will be remembered a) for what he did for us in his best moments and b) for standing up to the establishment.

Guest reefatoon
Ryan Taylor is in no position to have a go at the club after the living he has robbed from us the last few years.
Village Idiot
Would be f***ing hilarious if Ryan Taylor tore into Carver Now they've made him angry. You don't want to see him angry. http://img.thesun.co.uk/aidemitlum/archive/01489/01_taykls_1489427a.jpg

sbnufc
R. Taylor: "We came here and we were here not even a day, John Carver called me and told me the club werent gonna offer me a new deal. Then I had a chat with him, he's a good friend of mine, I spent a lot of time with John in and out of the club so I had a chat with him, and then he asked me to pass the phone to Jonas which was unbelievable" Jonas: "I didnt expect that they were going to offer a new contract, but it's not about that, you have to move on. I can understand all the football issues, but more important for me is that they can't pick up the phone and call me or my agent and say 'thank you, thanks for the years.. we're going to release you'. That's more the way (to do it)" R. Taylor: "He was made to do it. He was obviously upset in being made to do it. He seemed upset about telling two good pro's who've been here a long time it's come to an end. I can't really blame John because he's under instructions on what to do"

Village Idiot
Carver was told to do it. Well f*** me, a manager told to deal with players. Whatever next. He's the head coach. If he isn't the one making that decision I'm not sure those doing it should be hiding behind him.
