Barton ran the midfield today: MOM

Tiote did a few too many scott parker pirrouettes for my liking:Solid performance though.

Apart from the were with control and much purpose...he held up play magnificently.

Krul 5 - not much to do

Perch 5,5 - not best but had a good spell there after his 5th yellow for the season.

Williamson 6 - Ok, but got lucky many times

Coloccini 7,5 - So calm and composed today

Enrique 8,5 - Really good once again

Routledge 6,5 - Ran his socks off, but lacked quality and the final ball.

Barton 7,5 - Very composed very good, some setpieces went to sh** though.

Tiote 9 - MOTM in my opinion, just ate that midfield up.

Ben Arfa 8,5 - Excellent, and OMG what a goal, what a player, reminds me of Messi. Had Carrol scored than he would've gotten a 9

Nolan 6,5 - Grew the more the game went. Ok match.

Carrol 6,5 - Should've scored. Not his best, but seriously shows heart when he tracks back like he does.

Thats my matchratings a few minutes after the match finished.

Aye, but Tiote did it into space every time. I was thoroughly impressed with him. I can't think of any negative to his game today.

Indeed what a game it was, one of best games I've seen in a long time. Here are my ratings for the game Newcastle United 10, the whole team played well as a unit. Ben Arfa and Tiote, fucking immense, Barton was fantastic what difference when you have a midfielder dictating the game. Just wonderful.

That is a massive massive result. Tiote and Bafra every game please. CH got everything right and the lads were maginificent. Carroll coming back and putting in blocks and tackles along with Nolan is what epitomised that win. Great result.
