JH
Will be mostly reserve players: Krul Raylor Campbell Kadar Trav Ranger Smith Vuckic Jonas Ameobi Lovenkrands If Krul plays and gets injured then we'll have Soderberg in goal against Stoke. If Krul plays against Stoke and gets injured then we'll have Soderberg in goal against Man City - what's your point? We'll be able to sit there and say "Oh well, at least we lost him in a game that matters..."
Taylor Swift
But at least he'll have played a part in an important match...

He needs to find some rhythm now as he'll be our number 1 for the near future (or for the next years)

biggs
We leave the better players out and we'll get absolutely destroyed (and I'm talking 6/7) - getting knocked out is inevitable, but putting on a good performance and keeping things respectable is important for confidence and morale. I don't think Enrique will die if he plays in the Carling Cup like. Tbh Chelski will put a weakened team out too and its the cup owt can happen

My point is, we need to reduce our risks as we have far more important games than Chelsea in the League Cup.
colinmk
Tough one this.. this will more than likely field a weakened side so should we not just got for it? -----------------Krul Colo-----Sol-----------Willi------Jose Rout-----Bart--------Tiote------Jonas -----------------HBA ----------------Carroll The rest of the lineups in this thread, we're looking at 4/5-0 defeats - how can that help things at all? Would like to see that lineup.

Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
As long as we rest Colo/Williamson, Enrique, Barton and Carroll, I'm okay. (HBA and Tiote may need this game to increase their game time and fitness levels)
Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
Krul Tavernier Campbell Williamson Kadar Raylor Smith Tiote Jonas Ben Arfa Ameobi Subs- Soderberg, Ferguson, Routledge, Vuckic, Nolan, Ranger, Lovenkrands Bring off Tiote + HBA around the 65 min mark
NoU
Krul Raylor - Sol - Williamson - Kadar Jonas - Guthrie - Tiote - Ben Arfa Vuckic Løvenkrands Should do alright, and most importantly it will give valuable gametime to those who need it and rest to others. Actually Ancelotti said he'll give the youngsters more chances this season, i'm expecting them to put on a mixed side as well.
54
Krul Perch - Sol - Colo - Kadar Raylor - Smith - Vuckic - Jonas Loven - Best I would play that team, if Chelsea play a weak team 2-1 us if they play a strong team 0-

Mick
As if we're better than a weak Chelsea side As if we'd score 6 past Villa, as if Blackpool would beat us at St James', as if we'd win away at Everton. Anything can happen in football and if they play the team that played at St James' on Thursday then anything can happen in this game.
