SEMTEX
Overriding feeling right now? Danny Simpson is the best right back in the world. Thought he did alright as it happens. Rose-tinted specs because Perch is awful but apart from clearly being unfit (he's quicker than this) he played reasonably well IMO. The Perch factor is the whole reason that I now heart Simpson. DS is a mediocre RB, but today he looked streets ahead of JP.
Guest BooBoo
Krul- 6- Had little to do although coped well with crosses. Simpson-6- A decent return and a step up from Perch. Williamson-7- No real problems. Colo- 7- Playing with confidence at the moment Enrique- 7- Excellent in the second half, could have done more for Cole's goal. Barton-8 Two good assists and came into the game more and more as it went on. Nolan- 6- Good finish, not much else. Typical showing really. Tiote- 8- Completely shut WHU down in the second half. Jonas- 7- Lots of running and a good outlet in second 45. Ameobi- 6- No real chances I can recall and a few classis Sho-stopping moments. Carroll-7 Much better today and a nice header, although couldnt really miss.

Wullie
Apart from the goal I thought Carroll played pretty well second half. A constant threat, on the deck as well as in the air. Shola was better and buy my CD.

JH
Delighted with that Fantastic performance, played really well, but they didn't exactly make it hard in that second half did they? They were fucking terrible.
Geordie Boot Boy
It's strange that we're almost making away grounds "our fortress" this year, and underperforming at home.
BlueStar
I fucking love joey barton, that angle where you saw him ping that cross in, freeze, and then throw his hands in the air like he just didn't care - fuck yeah.
Mick
That was brilliant after we went behind 59% possession away from home doesn't happen too often, I don't think we made a mistake all game. The short passing was as good as we've seen this season and we pressed them anytime they had the ball, Tiote was massive in midfield and he didn't let them settle. I didn't expect that performance or that result, it's a huge bonus for our chances of stying up as we've stuck them at the bottom of the table. Ronaldo
Krul's best game yet for me. No 'saves' to make, but that's the easy part of keeping. His judgement and handling were absolutely spot-on.
Keefaz
If Nolan continues this goal-scoring rate, when will Messi drink piss?

Aye, and claimed one ball brilliantly and bravely.
Frazzle
Apart from the goal I thought Carroll played pretty well second half. A constant threat, on the deck as well as in the air. Yup. If he hadn't scored everyone would be on his back still though.
JH
For all that I've criticised Barton this past couple of weeks, that cross for the second goal was one of the best crosses I think I've ever seen. The fucking dip in it was absolutely spot on.
Stifler
Full marks to CH - made adjustments and the second half was the most one sided half of football I have seen for a long time - West ham were trounced and its easy to say they are crap without giving us the correct amount of praise indeed. totally sorted out the right hand side problem - dont recall noticing obinna 2nd half, while 1st half he almost single handidly ripped us open. great job to react to that. the one goal difference 2nd half flattered west ham if anything ,truly horrible. Don't know, though we didn't have any real problems in the 2nd half from West Ham I don't think we did too well in attack from our right hand side, though Barton did a bit of attacking in the final 3rd on the right. Did anyone else notice Simpson made an interception halfway into West Ham's own half?
cubaricho
Krul's best game yet for me. No 'saves' to make, but that's the easy part of keeping. His judgement and handling were absolutely spot-on. You think so? I thought he was pretty crap. Almost bobbled both crosses that he got to and at one point was in no man's land. Pretty bad judgment overall but all of that can only get better with experience so I'm not too worried.

Taylor Swift
It was an excellent team performance. All of them contributed to the win, no one had to carry the team, we defended well as a team and worked hard to get the points. Just a good day's work for the boys. A couple of the high balls he claimed, there is no way in the world he would have come for them in August, he's learning.

He didn't even do the nervous hopeful punch thing that many keepers favour.
