Seriously. Anyone that actually views teams objectively would have Blackpool down as the worst team in the league. You're being deceived by a few good results/ performances. Look at the squad. It's very poor by Premiership standards.

I agree with him like, Blackpool will revert to type soon. It's like Hull when they came up, barely picked up a point after November, their initial enthusiasm kept them up by the skin of their teeth.

And the other side of the same coin can be: you're only looking at the squad.  What about the intangible factors like team spirit? form? desire?

The fuckers paid for it though.

A few defeats on the bounce will soon see to that man.

Surely looking objectively would be watching their games and judging them on their performances rather than their squad on paper?

If you look at their squad only Adam is arguably Premier League quality, however they've played well this season, and are certainly a better team than the likes of West Ham. I agree that they will do what Hull did and slide towards the end of the season though.

Nope. That's what you've got wrong. You don't just judge the performances. The best way of gauging future, long-term performance, is by looking at the squad on paper and the performances. The squad is so bad, that it overrides the performances.

Did anyone else think it was liking watching West Ham tv watching sky tonight? Andy Gray fook me! It's been obvious for years that he hates the Toon but tonight! Not to worry though as it makes the win and performance all the better.

west ham always seem to get soft touch coverage, why grant isnt under media pressure despite being bottom while hughton they say was on the verge of being sacked if colo didnt score last week after an ok start to the season.

plus that ridiculous piece with the bellend gold on motd2 couple of weeks ago

Don't all London clubs though ?

Desire and team spirit are intangible.

Form is quantifiable.

Just correcting that. Form should be given considerable weighting. Team spirit/ desire should be given much less weighting.

As it happens, Blackpool's squad is so poor that it heavily outweighs the significance of their form/ performances when estimating future, long-term performance. I have them as favourites to go down.
