Nordstrom
Hoping Simpson performs above his norm in this match. Guthrie is going to provide minimal support when Fulham attack so the game may hinge on his ability to play well.
Flip
Guthrie is fine. But Lovenkrands. Oh well, I guess I'll be happy with a point. Routledge should play off Carroll in my opinion.
Frazzle
Fulham 4-4-
Beren
You could probably count the number of meaningful touches Lovenkrands has had this season on one hand. He's totally anonymous these days, has bugger all impact on games. Really hope I'm wrong, but it looks like a fucking awful decision from Hughton. Difficult to disagree with that. The still somewhat unknown propsect of Xiscov(or even out of position Routledge) must surely be worth a punt over the near-definite nothingness of the recent Lovenkrands - but we don't know the facts. Hope Hughton is ITK anyway (I should hope so!).
sander68
Did Routledge shag Hughton's wife? Guthrie was shit in the Championship on the right. I don't think it would work any better in the Premier League.
Pilko
I'd start Xisco were it not for his lack of match practice.
TaylorJ_01
Well, it'll be interesting to see Carroll-Loven partnership in the prem. Who knows, it may work. Why would it? Trust me, I think Loven is crap but we can at least hope that they have some sort of connection.
Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
That's a piss poor line up with Guthrie out wide...
Ketsbaia
Ahhh Chris man, I think you've messed up in a big way there. If Shola isn't fit, Loven is acceptable I suppose, but Guthrie on the right? That won't work. Although I'm happy to be proved wrong....
Flip
I'd rather have seen Routledge Guthrie Tiote Jonas Nolan Carroll or even Guthrie Tiote Nolan Jonas Routledge/Ranger Caroll LOVENKRANDS IS SHIT.

Disco
AC9 going to have a hard day up against Hangeland. Come on leaps and bounds at Fulham. I remember the first time he played at SJP he looked uncomfortable in his own skin nevermind on the football field.
M4
We should just play one up front and with ten men just to make Ronaldo happy.
Disco
Who would take set-pieces if Guthrie didn't play? Everybodys second favourite Argie.
TaylorJ_01
Who would take set-pieces if Guthrie didn't play? That must literally be the only reason he is on the park. Would rather have R Taylor in that case since he chips in with goals and good deliverys, just fuck all else.
Ronaldo
Alan Smith isn't playing - that's the only positive.

Ketsbaia
Tiote needs to be very careful today. Otherwise for the next game it'll be Guthrie-Smith-Nolan-Jonas. May as well forfeit that one.
Cronky
Hughton is seeing something in Lovenkrands that I'm not.
Beren
Hope Hughton can get the team as geared up as though we were facing a big team - and the team can deliver on not making costly defensive errors.
SEMTEX
Maybe this game will shut people up about Lovenkrands getting his chance once and for all? I doubt it.
Dan Gleebals
...In one thread, give Chris a new contract - he has done a great job etc. In this on.... lets slag his selection off before we have even kicked a ball. We dont see the players on the training pitch, this might be the best we can do. Have to agree however that I would prefer to see Guthrie in the middle as I am not sure he is going to offer too much cover for simpon down the right. However, maybe he will start on the left, that would make the most sense.
