Happy Face
I think it says something about the "Should have stuck with Pardew" brigade that the ONLY result Carver has done worse in is the trip to Chelsea. A freak result for Pardew rather than a game that went to form which Carver would have expected to match or better.

Pilko
One thing I despise about football these days is this 'we aren’t expected to get anything' attitude. It really boils my p*ss. Same. It's an acceptable line for a lower-league manager in a cup tie, designed to put pressure on the higher division side, but when you're in the same league it's fucking laughable and small time as fuck. STM
Maybe the players should have forced the coaching staff to watch the 5-0 defeat to Man City, not the other way around. Its like Carvdew has management for dummies in his office. As if the twat can read.

Even more ridiculous that it was a few hours after fucking Burnley held the league leaders to a draw at their place.

Elma
I guess you could actually argue Carver has a better record as he has faced four away games out of seven, where it is four home games for Pardew.

Great in the Championship, I personally wouldn't like to see them in the Premier League. They do make the lower leagues great fun to watch though

mrmojorisin75
Did anyone listen to the Chronicle podcast? No, what did they say? Defended themselves against accusations of collusion with the club, said they weren't pushing Carver for the job etc. All the accusations have really got to them like. AyeDubbleYoo
All they need to do is start writing about actual issues rather than parroting Keith Bishop's latest briefing.
TaylorJ_01
Funny how, by defending themselves against it, they've done exactly what the club would do. "Keep saying it and eventually they might believe us".
NG32
The Chronicale has wormed its way back in, its now being fed good time stories and is happy to have them. Save for a lot of hassle for themselves of actually having to do any real journalism. May as well just have YTS lads uploading the stories to the website.
