I'm pretty sure that if Ben Arfa is back in time then he will be played upfront. Basically it's up to our midfield to not only create goals but score them, keep them coming Nolan, Barton, and anyone else who wants to chip in.

would take him till the end of the season but looks like he`d doing a Winston Bogarde and just prefer to pocket the cash despite not even being registered.

A lump of lard with nothing to gain from putting in a shift is exactly what we need.

ZOMG! He is signing!

Following the close of the January 2011 January transfer window English Premier League Side Newcastle United have inquired about the Brazilian playmaker following injuries to many of the club's forwards.

Looks like he is lacking fitness though. Add in the fact no-one at the club will have heard of him and it should be safe to say we wont be going anywhere near.

Hope he still has his redonkulous pace from past console games.

When Ireland's fit why not go all Everton and play him and Nolan up top like Moyes did with Fellaini and Cahill for a few games.

Because we'd have no-one else to break from midfield and join them like Everton had with Arteta, Billy, Coleman and others.

Why should we be allowed to take on loan players at this stage simply because we're badly managed? We just got £35million and we didn't have the presence of forethought to secure at least loan deal replacements for the players who departed. We had all month to shock-proof/enhance the depth of the squad, but we sat on our hands and failed to act when we had the chance.

What pissed me off is the likes of vela and Sturrage were obviously available and we couldn't be fucked to do it.

From .com

PS: A claim of interest in Magpies old boy Jon Dahl Tomasson did the rounds on Thursday but his possible release by Feyenoord is due to a tendon injury incurred last summer playing for Denmark in the World Cup.

That has sidelined the 34 year-old since then and with the Dutch club claiming compensation from the Danish FA, Tomasson may be forced into retirement.
