Checko
Had a little look at some club badges and found Barrow AFC: It's got a nuclear submarine on it, a Richard Osman's House of Games clue (bottom left), and an old-school football. Love it. Edited June 1, 2024 by Checko Smaller picture
kingxlnc
Forest’s is one of the best, was done by a competition winner no less Timeless (done in the 70s) and it’s retained that minimalism that is all the rage these days

Kid Icarus
I've decided that the "Scholes, Gerrard or Lampard?" question that it seems podcasters and Rio Ferdinand are going to ask everyone until the day they die is now the football version of 'does pineapple belong on pizza?' 'Is Die Hard a Christmas film' and in fact even worse than them. So sick of it

54
If you could create or add a random rule to football even if it'd be silly and not work in reality, what would it be? For me, I would add a rule that if you win a free-kick on Penalty you have to be the one that takes it, would add a completely different type of jeopardy. Dr.Spaceman
As soon as the ref gives a decision such as a free kick then the offending side have to move away from the ball and if they touch it intentionally the player doing so receives a yellow or some sort of reprimand. Maybe add some sort of unsportsmanlike 3 strike type thing before a yellow.

Kid Icarus
Free kicks can always be taken immediately and you don't need to pass or shoot, you can just run with the ball if you want to.
Field
Is the Financial Fair Play rules wildly different between all the leagues? Or maybe even non existent? Like how has Paris and Barcelona not been relegated to last division for breaking the rules/being bankrupt not long ago.

gbandit
Does Obafemi Martins never reference us / visit / have any affiliation with us anymore? A lot of our former players, especially strikers who got a decent number of goals talk very fondly of us but I never hear anything about or from Martins

Sidenote: I just looked up the 08-09 season Wiki and went down a Wikihole of looking up what happened to the players we had that season (and those we let go). Did anyone else know that James fucking Troisi signed for Juventus in 2012, four years after leaving us without a single appereance? Has to be said that he went on to make exactly zero appearances for Juventus as well, but still... what the fuck?

Sidnote #2: Obafemi Martins has a 19 year old son named Kevin Martins that's currently on the books for Monza in the Serie A (though playing for their U19s). 54
What footballer has the best for being a footballer, for commentary purposes etc. As I was just watching the EFL highlights, and Rak-Sakyi is near enough perfect for whenever he smashes the ball into the back of the net
