Teasy
People take press stories far too seriously when we aren't involved
The College Dropout
I don't think he's athletic enough for a top team. Then his age might deter some other clubs (us, L'pool & Spurs who rarely sign players in that age bracket). So your left with Soton, Everton, Stoke etc. Would be a good signing for Liverpool mind. midstoon
Wants to be in London near his bud Debuchy.
Ketsbaia
I'd have thought West Ham would be in there once a new manager is appointed - London, big wages, ambitious.
Dokko
Move on people, he chased the money, found the bench and will now settle for capital life with his 'pal'. He'll be wanting a move to a better capital club within the year if Palace isn't a smokescreen to get others down there interested.
Skeletor
We'd have Colback whilst Pardew has Cabaye at Crystal fucking Palace. We keep finding new lows to plummet to.
Scoot
Don't worry everyone, we're gunna spend big this summer. We'll be signing better players than Cabaye.
sempuki
Noooooooo....
Mole_Toonfan
I can't understand why only Villa and Palace are in for him? Aside from Chelsea and maybe Arsenal surely any other Premier league team could benefit from him. Even Arsenal imo Not a chance, just like Sissoko he'd ride the bench. AlanSkÃrare
No idea if he had his best career form here but I bet 12-13 was his worst. The fucking punts, lingering behind Williamson aiming for Shola or Cissé at RW. It was barely football.
gorgeousgeorge
i can just see Pardew's smug face at the Cabaye unveiling. "Great to get Yohan over the line" blugh
maze
Depressing if it happens
NUFC_Chris
I'm not bothered to be honest. I couldn't blame him for going to PSG at the time but it hasn't worked out for him since. He was the mainstay of the French national team, he can't say that now, so arguably it was the worst thing that could've happened for his career. The fact he may end up at Palace under that chump is more depressing for him than us.
TRon
Not too fussed tbh, he's a great player technically, but the premier was too fast for him, he struggled to keep up in a lot of games. That said, I would like to see him playing under a footballing coach. Our style under the fraud didn't do him any favours.
The College Dropout
Punch must be bricking it. No way Pardew would play Cabaye, Zaha, Bolasie and Puncheon in the same team.

That said, I would like to see him playing under a footballing coach. Our style under the fraud didn't do him any favours. I actually think he excels when he's the big fish in the small pond. He hasn't made waves at PSG playing under Blanc nor France with Deschamps. They're apparently good managers. Play Cabaye in that advanced position like Pards did from Sep-Jan and Cabaye will do the business. That's where he seems to like to play. Being the main man. DJ_NUFC
Blanc never played him in an advanced role, he was always the cleaner and the one to keep things ticking over behind more advanced midfielders for France.

Yeah exactly. I don't think he likes that. He prefers to score and create goals. He knows Pardew will play him there for Palace.

From what I recall he was used mostly as a sitting player for Pardew as well. It used to really frustrate me seeing him playing behind Tiote in a lot of the games. Whether he was told to sit back or just does it naturally I don't know, but that's where he usually ended up.
The Prophet
These so called reports claim they haven't even made a bid yet, wouldn't shit the bed just yet yet. Having said that I'd perplexed if it did go through.
