The Sturridge deal in isolation though, loan with a view to buy, isn't that bad a shout. If the player is quality enough, then it's still worth doing. Maybe the idea is to have the mindset that we don't want to bring in anybody on loan unless someone becomes available who would be worth it, ala Ben Arfa.
