The College Dropout
If Ba came back.... would people seriously want to see him wide to accommodate Cisse in the middle? the same Cisse from the last year? I'd want them fighting for one spot, who performs better plays. This is the only thing that makes sense.
jdckelly
Loan Ba, grab Gomis on pre contract in jan to replace him next season

NG32
Ba in the middle as it suits our style of play. remy n ben arfa on esch flank of the ftont
Parky
Ba is the gameplan they have been working on. Dem Ba gameplans. Clowns.
Cronky
Ba on loan sounds like a good Plan B, but there are obvious implications. He didn't form a good partnership with Cisse, and made it clear that he wanted the central role. There were credible rumours that there was tension between the two behind the scenes. Ba and Remy has potential, but Cisse would need to take a back seat. I just hope Pardew has the cojones to make the decision and handle the aftermath. Skirge
Sounds good but another loan deal is not ideal.
jdckelly
Sounds good but another loan deal is not ideal. no but at this stage needs must and this is more likely to possibly be permanent compared to doing a favor for QPR with Remy

Pardew got a few things wrong last season but not sorting out Ba/Cisse was probably the biggest mistake.

The toon wasn't big enough for the both of them.
Wilson
If he came back it would blatantly be back to Cisse on thee right Pardew wouldn't have the bollocks to drop him.
JH
Remy Ba HBA Not even in question. Should be this every time.
Newcastle Fan
Imagine if he starts Ba and Cisse up top together again Those instances when we hit it long and both of them make the same run and nearly collide with each other used to fucking kill me
jdckelly
Being lazy here like but have Senegal qualified for the World Cup? Top of their table (qualifiers). http://i.imgur.com/0ZIiQzS.png Would still need to play a play-off to qualify. either way he's going to want to be playing most weeks in order to play in any playoff match and potentially the world cup making a loan far more possible. junkhead
Like fuck is he coming back.. More half-arsed attempts at transfers.
Skirge
Well Ba hated playing out on the left even though he was mint there, created so many chances for the team. He will be here on loan only so surely Cisse gets the central role BUT maybe Ba will want the promise of a central role if he agrees to return. Willow
Would be fine with this, but can't see it happening. Would be weird and would much prefer having a permanent signing over a loan but beggars can't be choosers!
Guest Haris Vuckic
I'd snap your hand off for a striker who can finish from 6 yards.
Cajun
Would be mental to sign him and stick him on the left again. Utterly pointless.
AyeDubbleYoo
Would be mental to sign him and stick him on the left again. Utterly pointless. Equally to sign him and stick Cisse on the left to accommodate him. Basically they can't both play.
Guest Haris Vuckic
He worked well on the left - it was Cisse that didn't.
AyeDubbleYoo
He worked well on the left - it was Cisse that didn't. I agree, I would have just kept him there all the time. The team would have functioned much better. Especially given that he was nailed-on to leave anyway.
ads
He worked well on the left - it was Cisse that didn't. Agreed. I'm sure he'd sooner play on the left here than not at all at Chelsea.
