Demba Ba (now retired)

First goal was quality, seems Ba & Best can and like to turn defenders inside the box creating some great angles to unleash their shots.

B&B must continue to start games together when fit, there is a great (for our level) striking partnership to be had in there, and it will only get better.

'well done Demba lad' +1

 His header for the hattrick was really good as well.

Nothing Garth Crooks says surprises me, but Jesus Christ.

Regarded as a bit part player for West Ham and injury prone by Stoke, Alan Pardew took a chance on the Senagalese striker but his hat-trick against Blackburn has completely vindicated the purchase and now asks questions about the judgement of others managers. On this showing, an inspired buy.

He played in 12 of their 14 league games since he joined.

The man makes me feel sick any time he opens his mouth. He's probably the worst thing on television. Someone mentioned in 'pet hates' or another thread that they think he may have a disability of some sort. Certainly I think he's mentally off the mark, this doesn't forgive some of the pain he causes in his analysis
