Had me thinking though, if the ball went in from a throw in, untouched, would it be a goal? IIRC, the ball isn't considered to be in play until a player touches it, so it wouldn't count. He was out of favour at Bolton and didn't score that many goals in his last couple of years there. Now every pundit goes on about how he is guaranteed to score x amount of goals a season - wasn't last season the highest number of goals that he had scored in the Premier League.
