The transformation from his poor start to becoming captain and now getting the kind of contract that probably goes against the club's policy shows just how great he has been and how important he is. Tbh Colloccini has always being an ace of a defender, he is more a reader of the game than aggressive type, had no doubts he would come good at the end of the day.
