Football Italia site finally upgraded to the 21st century. Looks good.

Agreed, much easier to navigate now. However, they seem to have got rid of the city guide section, was always a good read and very informative, shame if they don't replace it

Anyone know how well/poorly Napoli are doing financially?

Lavezzi and Cavani on the mark again, incidentally.

Turned a profit recently. Very tight wage bill.

So they won't hold on to Cavani/Lavezzi/Hamsik much longer, you wouldn't think?

I hope they will, but you'd worry that Man City are keeping tabs on all 3.

Classic buying to stop other having if so. Only Cavani would get in their XI imo and even then they'd only need him for European games ahead of Dzeko who himself if more than good enough for the world best league trademark.

There's two good article on Inter's finances. SwissRamble's 'war and peace edition' or Kris Voakes condensed version. Either way Inter are massively close to going under.

People forget they spent so much money in the last sort of 10 years buying players and doing terrible transfers (Coco for Seedorf, Cannavaro to Juve). In that time they haven't really produced much internally, Balotelli and Santon are recent examples but prior to that I can't think of many (watch Sewelly post a huge list now ha).

Even their squads have been huge, I remember on old Football Manager games you could steal 4-5 great players from their reserves, the likes of; Emre, Dalmat and Coco.  Unfortunately for them Moratti is running out of money and Mourinho's purchases were not long term at all. That's why they've bought Alvarez, Coutinho, Castaignos and Rannochia in recent times, to give the squad some potential longevity.

As for Totti it's sad to see him consider leaving, I could see him going to New York Red Bulls. With them really being based in Jersey he wouldn't miss Italy too much, but then he might return looking like a Jersey Shore cast member.
