STM
Elliot did nothing wrong, well apart from not standing directly in the path of Coutinho's wonder strike. How dare he not be telepathic.
Paully
Rafa “Take the goal we conceded. People say it was a great goal by Coutinho. It was a lack of communication before the goal. Bad movement, a lack of communication and then he scores. All of these things we can improve."

LoveItIfWeBeatU
So you think that's Rafa 100% blaming Elliot for the goal? More like every member of the team who could have done something better. Every goal scored can be blamed on someone.
xLiaaamx
The one thing he doesn't criticise is the goalkeeper's positioning in that, actually. Weird if anyone tries to twist it into meaning its Elliot's fault.
The College Dropout
I think more there was a collection of small individual mistakes culminating in the goal. As most goals are. Clark made the biggest gaffe in the whole game and it wasn't punished. The other lads made small mistakes imo and were punished.
Kimbo
It was like it dribbled past him in slow motion.

Smal
No way Krul doesn't save that first one, like.
The College Dropout
Aye the way it trickled in was painful. He wasn't even close to it either, can only assume his positioning was awful as well as his agility. Still think the other players should've crowded the shot out. Geordie Ahmed
Low shots are a challenge for him as it takes him ages to get down Obvious area of upgrade along with Left Back and the forwards
Greg
Simply not good enough. Should be third choice back up - what he was bought for in the first place.

Dave
He looks every bit the £300,000 Charlton goalkeeper. We're obviously not able to bring in a truly top class goalkeeper for a variety of reasons but he's being exposed at this level by good rather than exceptional efforts on goal. Skeletor
Should be saving that first goal. A more agile keeper would have.
Guest
Both keepers wouldn't have looked out of place in the All-Priests five-a-side Over-75s Indoor Challenge Football Match.
afar
I honestly would roll with Woodman at this point, Darlow's really not much better than Blobby and we need to see what we have in him before someone comes in a steals him away. Really couldn't be much worse than Blobby, even at such a young age for a GK.
Guest neesy111
Nope. Could ruin woodman if he comes in too early.
Dave
The target for Woodman has to be our first team next season like. If not he'll be away.
afar
Nope. Could ruin woodman if he comes in too early. A lot of people say this, but it's hard to find an example of that happening to another promising keeper, can you give me one ?
midds
I'd be really tempted to start giving Woodman a few games now. I know Rafa won't and can totally understand the caution. He's got to be given a go at some point though and he'll not get better sitting on the bench, he needs to play at the highest level asap if he's going to develop. I refuse to believe he's poorer than Elliot.
Numbers
Some of his kicks were worse than terrible, should have done alot better for their first goal.
Guest
Shay Given had just turned 21 when he was signed as our first choice keeper. Woodman would be at the same age start of next. I reckon we go for it.

A lot of people say this, but it's hard to find an example of that happening to another promising keeper, can you give me one ? Scott Carson and Chris Kirkland are two that stand out. Personally I'd go for it though tbh, Elliott's not getting any better than this.
