Segun Oluwaniyi
Spain are the most dominant national side in recent memory. Regardless of any discussion about aesthetics or even effectiveness, they are not going to change even a little bit until they stop winning every single thing available to them. The 2008 side was pretty class, an attacking side that absolutely dominated everyone. Then Del Bosque comes in and Spain grind their way (with some luck) to shitty 1-0 wins in the World Cup. They were fortunate to even get past the group stage, they should have conceded more goals in the knockout stages (and would have been f***ed because of it), but fortune favoured Del Bosque and now we have Spain a goal away from getting knocked out again. Don't want to hear any nonsense about luck, frankly. The closest thing they've had to luck is beating Italy on penalties in 2008. If you believe conceding two goals in a seven game tournament where you had to face the likes of Portugal, a rampant Germany, and Holland, then I don't know what to say for you. It might be luck over the course of one game, but after this you just have to credit them. This group is also much more difficult than the ones they defeated in 2008 and 2010. Interpolic
Why does Bright feel the need to criticise every passage of play? He's having a go at the Croat lad there for not heading the ball downwards, sometimes this isn't very easy or even possible and you'd think Bright would know this since he was a mediocre striker who missed plenty of sitters himself (for the likes of Sheffield Wednesday and Crystal Palace). Just enjoy the game man FFS. Tempted to go to Poland and plant some class A's in his bags for when he comes back. POW!

Ketsbaia
Might've been asked, but if Croatia vs Spain finishes 1-1, who goes through? The mini league will be exactly joint, so would it then come down to the Ireland games?
