Dogawful Officiating - Dave Coote suspended

Recommended Posts

Not to defend the Premier League, but from what I remember (and this is from an article about 6 months back so may be wrong) the reason it's taking so long and why it's not as easy to integrate into our game compared to others is due to the way Nike design the ball, which means the chip that the Champions League ball has implanted (Adidas manufacture) can't be used. So they're having to create an entirely new system that they had to go out to tender for.

Given Nike are being replaced with Puma from next season anyway, I'm not sure why they don't just wait and get the system integrated correctly.

When I clicked on that, I was expecting it to be the Joelinton one. The Gordon foul is as stonewally as you're going to get.

"Controversial" fucking hell

The controversy being something was given AGAINST Man City...

If there's no controversy there's nothing to discuss. If there's nothing to discuss then there's no need for the programme to exist. Anything even remotely controversial needs to be exaggerated to justify it's own existence

They quickly brushed aside the 2 penalties decisions. I think the 1st one was handball, but it was likely a case of it bouncing up to hit his hand. Still though, the fact that they quickly dismissed them just shows that they never actually checked them.

I have noticed that so far this season, the non-top 6 teams don’t get the huge amounts of stoppage time in their games anymore, but the top 6 teams get a fuck load of it still if they need it. Man City have had loads of stoppage time in their last 2 games now, I think it’s 16 minutes between their 2 games of us, and Arsenal.

I think the discussion should be "should it be a penalty" rather than "was it a penalty". It clearly was a penalty on Gordon, but I don't think it should b. Player seeking contact, and going willfully over at the slightest touch should be deemed simulation and yellow card.

Don't think Joelintons shout was or should be fwiw.

Not sure how he managed to work out it was only 1 minute for stoppages in the first half

took a couple of minutes after their goal just to get in position for our restart.

Just seen Palmer’s 3rd goal. How on earth is he allowed to take the free kick from there? He’d never have tried a shot if he’d been made to take it from where the foul took place.
