ponsaelius
I remember watching entire games at that WC and forgetting he was playing apart from when he took a set-piece.
Mole_Toonfan
Gourcuff is shat but i still expect him to go because Blanc loves him for the exact same reason i expect Alou Diarra to go.
Guest hatem garrincha
My list of 3 unhappy : Matuidi - Gourcuff - Rémy.
Segun Oluwaniyi
2008-2009 was the only top class season in Gourcuff's career. Granted, his performances in leading in leading a fairly average Bordeaux team to the title were majestic, but he hasn't come close to it anytime after or before. M4
Bordeaux were top at the Winter break the season after that and he remained amazing through those few months. All turned to shit afterwards.
Sifu
Bordeaux were top at the Winter break the season after that and he remained amazing through those few months. All turned to s*** afterwards. What an absolute shame. I remember the 2008/09 season well when they kept comparing Gourcuff to Zidane. There was so much hype surrounding him yet it looks as if he hasn't handled it well at all. TaylorJ_01
What squad number is he likely to have in the Euros if he's called up? Last time he played for France it was 14 (vs. Norway 2010). Couldn't guarantee it'll be the same though.
Bowie
Cheers. Didn't realise that was his last game like, when he scored against Norway. Proper ages ago.

Guest Spiria
Cabaye will start, HBA makes the squad but off the bench. You bring a match winner but you let him off the bench ?! With the wound of Remy, the starter on the right will be Menez and Hatem will be first replacement for the milfield.
TaylorJ_01
I think he means what you said. We say 'coming off the bench' meaning substituting onto the field. Or I've read it wrong.

Mick
http://it.newslifter.info/post/ben-arfa-no-allinter-resto-al-newcastle PARIS - Hatem Ben Arfa will not go to Inter. The talented 25 year old French of Newcastle, in fact, confirms the words of his agent, which he said he would not leave the English club. At French TV Telefoot Ben Arfa said: "I want to honor my contract with Newcastle and I'm not going to go away."
