PCW1983
He offered nothing today, needs to work alot harder for me and stop fucking about. He is capable of making powerful probing runs, thats what he needs to concentrate on, not seeing if he can skin every opposing player. As good as he may be, he cant. KaKa
Would have been far better off starting the game. Came on just as it was all beginning to go tits up, and Gerrard was starting to cause us problems. Had more posession prior to this, which would have allowed for him to do more. Hanshithispantz
Never once seen him trying to skin an entire team like, a few players maybe to advance us forward (and he's capable of it) aye, but lets not get daft here. He was poor tonight as was pretty much every other player, Liverpool pressed us well and we fucking bottled it, simple as.
Ishmael
forgot he came on as a sub tbh, cant remember him doing anything of note So, your point is what? And fwiw I think he was impressive for what little involvement he had.

And fwiw I think he was impressive for what little involvement he had. Ben Arfa seems immune from criticism (in general) from certain people on here its either 1. It's Pardews tactics 2. He's not fit 3. It's x players' fault 4. He should have started instead of being a sub Ben Arfa should get praised when he played well and criticised when he plays poor, just like everyone else in the squad, but sometimes as soon as you say something against him some posters leap to his defence cause he can't do anything wrong. This is not aimed at anyone in particular btw He's done OK since his injury, not brilliant, not rubbish just OK, the jury is still out on whether he will be a success for NUFC. He'll always be a special case though because of what he's done for us so far (i.e. Everton) and his reputation back in France. The jury is still technically out on Santon but we all want him in the team still.
Elliottman
I'm not one to name call on message boards, but anyone who can complain about his appearance tonight is either a total idiot or doesn't have the first fucking clue what they are talking about. We played long balls from back to front for the majority, it was neVer AP intention to play the ball on the ground. So how is h b a meant to get the ball?? Guest je85
Ben Arfa would have been great behind Carroll, not so much behind Ba. Not taking anything away from Ba, great player, but Carroll's hold-up play would have been perfect to make space for Hatem.. in this team now he needs to be on the wing, not in the middle. Did you see Carroll's hold up play today?

Flip
Michael Foster you are full of shite. What do you expect him to do today? He wasnt poor, becuase if he was so was every single player on our team bar Colo and Cheick. Criticizing a player for coming on as a sub and not getting a ball to play with is disgusting. We are playing long balls and we were poor whole match. Ben Arfa wasnt poor, he was invisible as there was nothing for him. the match passed him and Vukcic and Ba by for every single minute. three of those 4 are legitimate reasons. He is fit, should therefore start and would been better had it not been for the teams tactics. Embarassing.
Guest Dontooner
We dont know how to use him end of. Talented player but not so talented manager... we need to match those terms 1st.

Guest hatem garrincha
How many balls arrived on his feet in 25 minutes tonight ? 3 or 4 ? And some here write him off for that ? Individualist, not working hard, He did well at Bolton ?, he's not at the level (of Obertan), he loose balls...all these s*** everyday in the press = a player completely under pressure and paralyzed. Well, he did nothing tonight, Pardew has his pretext to bench him again next week.

You guys criticize players like HBA who can play while defending players with pace who are s***. No wonder your country is miles behind in international football since it seems to have a rather strange view on football.
