I was expecting Maradona 1986. Other than the nice first touch, he just ran very fast in a straight line.

>.< Just no. You're not looking close enough at the last part.

Philippe Auclair ‏ @PhilippeAuclair

HBA's place in Blanc's 23 by no means assured. Incomprehensible seen from England, but Blanc tends to stick to 'his' players. Only 50/50.

Surely he has to be in the French squad for the Euros

I was expecting Maradona 1986. Other than the nice first touch, he just ran very fast in a straight line.

Firstly, there was a lovely bit of skill to turn his man in our half. After that each knock of the ball was weighted perfectly to take him past his man but keep it out of the way of the Bolton players. From a simple perspective it looks like a straight line run, but moving that fast and knocking the ball perfectly forward a few times and finishing is very tough. The last knock on was brilliant to take him beyond the defence and in front of the keeper.

It's certainly not a Maradona one, that was better than this but it's got its place as a great goal for us and this season.

Unbelievable! he is typical "Cutting Edge" Player. He will score when team need to score badly. A bit selfish player from few people point of view. But that's what u need to get victory. The borderline between selfishness or just try as hard as maximum as you can do is very thin. If u fail you just selfish fucker if you win you are the greatest hero.

While he can be selfish he has also been responsible for some lovely assists, he's not really a selfish player, he improves the team being in it. It's more if he drifts off but he seems to have got much better at not doing that.

He's only 1 away from matching his assist tally for Marseille and he played for them for 3 seasons  he loves it here.

Really think he does. Was soaking up the applause when he went off  :aww:

Loved how he kept turning around to clap the whole stadium :aww:

The goal is up on 101greatgoals with South American commentary.

Seriously didn't think it could be better than in real time, but the commentary adds a little icing to a very tasty cake

Arabic*

Anyway, such a player. Hope he'll stay here for a very long time.

Interesting Pardew quote on Ben Arfa - "With Hatem, you've got to let him have his world. It's his world when he has the ball, my world is when he hasn't."

 Great quote.
