There's nothing wrong with wanting to see one of our best players better himself. Bayern are a bigger club than we'll ever be, and if you enjoy attractive, skillful football on the ball mixed in with German effiiciency and vorsprung doch technique, then you'd appreciate the thought of Ben Arfa playing alongside Ribery and Robben. The three of them would be like the footballing equivalent of the three muskateers, with Schweiny being D'artagnan. If you can't put selfish NUFC aspirations aside for one second to appreciate the bigger picture then you're not a real football fan imo.

Schweiny Kroos

Robben Ben Arfa Ribery

Gomes

That's dream team material right there.

Since when were you a wum? You're better than that, give it a rest.

Jesus Christ. The initial post wasn't actually that bad tbf. But to actually cast aside our own football club's aspirations to appreciate the potential dream line up of another club?

Quotes can be misleading.

Question might have been "If Barcelona offer you a multi billion pound contract, will you leave?", or it could have been "How's Newcastle Hatem?".

the question was:

Google translation:

Your future is always there by Newcastle?

If I have no proposal really very, very serious, I'll stay. If a big club comes but do not propose something interesting, that is to say a coach who really wants me, I'll stay. If I do not feel the confidence of the coach was 100%, I will not leave. I still have three-year contract. But I know that AC can go fast.

Thought he was absolutely world class, will be astonished if we keep him after that.

Lol but srsly, i think he'll start at least one of the group games (if not the next one), and be a real threat for France. Don't know why he was introduced so late today, when it was clear as day the French were tiring and needed to add some attacking impetus.

5 minutes before we brought on our replacement we looked fucked, most players really flagging.  Would have been the perfect time to send on Hatem and/or Menez and possibly Valbuena to really stretch our tired legs.  It would have also lead to a difficult introduction for any subs we would have then made...

I was only really bothered about Ben Arfa actually going to the Euro's and making the squad for the sake of his happiness. Bonus if he doesn't play too much and stays injury free imo
