powellnufc
We have a good core to the side, but no outlet on the wings, which brings pressure on the whole team
Ishmael
Cannot stretch games and relieve pressure from our box; prefer to cut inside and play little one-two's with our midfield than attack the full backs; offer little goal scoring threat; have poor crossing ability; do not utilize their pace... It goes on. We need to make an investment if we want to progress.
TRon
It doesn't help that we have two very mediocre full backs behind them. Every time we play a half decent team they look like they have come in cold direct from a pub team.
Kanj
Wingers and backs are our biggest problems
henke
We proved last year with Barton on the right that you don't actually need to be a winger as such to play there. Although at this point i'm just scraping for reasons to drop Obertan. I'd start Perch there over him tbh.
Beren
Our biggest problem honestly. Full-backs are a much bigger problem. Well, the two Pardew likes to play anyway.
Ronaldo
All 4 wide positions need looking at. None will be, of course.
eliassenfredrik
What's the point of even playing with wingers when they are as ineffective and s*** as ours? A narrow 4-1-2-1-2 diamond tactic could at least produce some chances, and remove the free flow of drunken clown passing going on at the sides. Yorkie
Really sad to see the way Jonas is playing at the moment. To say he's gone off the boil would be an understatement. Can't even be bothered discussing Obertan any more.
Mick
Both underperforming, so why the f*** ben arfa can't get a start on either side is beyond me now. Remember when Souness was here and he said he wanted hard working wide men and not wingers? It's the same now, Pardew has a perception that Jonas and Obertan are putting in a shift and he puts that above flair and creativity.
Hanshithispantz
I still have hope for Santon and Jonas striking up a decent repoire, Obertan is the most brain dead fucker i've ever seen though, I wouldn't be suprised if it was revealed he was necking a bottle of gin on the plane ride down to matches
tomlkier
Santon needs to start at LB, Raylor RW.

Johnson and Enrique did it quite well for Liverpool today, whereas our two were too busy watching whether they were putting one foot in front of the other correctly in case they tripped themselves up. Elliottman
Been saying this for weeks but they have been fucking terrible for weeks. They are the two weak links in the team. And massiVe links they are too.

junkhead
Both underperforming, so why the f*** ben arfa can't get a start on either side is beyond me now. My biggest gripe currently. Playing every game, we're halfway through the season and they have a combined total of 3 or 4 shots on target and what is it - two assists? Ben Arfa has demonstrated more end product than both in his limited appearances.
Wil
Having no Marveaux to push them is half the problem, imo. Under Pardew they are now guarenteed a start. Jonas, in particular, was on fire before Marveaux's injury.
tomlkier
Could do with giving the wingers a day off. Best Ba Ben Arfa Vuckic Cabaye Tiote Santon Colo Willo Simmo Krul
