Doesn't seem 5 minutes since they won, went 6 points clear of 18th, and the feeling was that the result have almost made them safe ! That's changed really quickly. Can sunderland still go down? He he, aye - Bolton (currently 3rd bottom) have 6 matches left, which if they won them all, would give them 47 points. Mackems currently have 42. Not great at all. 8.5/10 - but it was a fair-sized stake. Thought the game would pan out differently. Thought Wigan would score, then Man Utd would try to get round the back of the defence with Valencia again and again - resulting in corners, but from what I saw, the game followed a different pattern and the Wigan flanks did really well to deny space for Valencia and the useless Jones.
