Smal
He's nowhere near that level, man. Think he'd do really well under Ferguson's coaching actually. Look at how good Carrick looks for them, Cabaye is easily as naturally talented imo.
jdckelly
hard to see Man Utd agreeing to pay £20m for a midfielder given they've needed one for 5 seasons and done nothing about it
Guest Howaythetoon
Why would Man Ud want Cabaye, they need midfieders not centre-backs.

Smal
There has been games where we've seen Cabaye's ability to do it too though, Ferguson would get it out of him consistently imo.

Put Cabaye in that line-up, with a reliable partner in Carrick and outlets all over the place, and he'd shine, imo.
MyPalAl
Cabaye won't give up his ambassador role for us. He has just got all his mates here, he's hardly gonna fuck off just yet is he? Is he?
Deuce
Nah I don't think he's going anywhere. I think even Ashley realizes he's worth more than 20mil to this team.

Pardew + Cabaye = not even worth 5mil A manager with half a brain who knows how to get the best out of him + Cabaye = 25mil
Wullie
Ferguson gets title winning performances out of Cleverley and Fletcher man, I doubt he'd struggle to do it with Cabaye. He wouldn't be asking him to just attempt to chip it into a striker's path from the edge of his own box every time he gets the ball for a start. Mole_Toonfan
Hypothetical situation: If it meant getting rid of Pardew and a quality manager coming would you sell one of our best players? Bit of a stupid question because it would never happen like that, just wondered if people would give up a player for Pardew to be sacked and a good replacement brought in. Mole asked, if you accept losing a better player if it meant having a better manager. Not dropping a division KDT. which i wouldn't want at all. Dont worry mate, any suggestion of dropping a league is a massive no from me fwiw.
Mole_Toonfan
I never said anything about dropping a division tbf, that is just moronic as we would have to sell all our players not like last time when a lot stayed due to our high wagebill and no one willing to pay the wages. Just saying would you sell a Cabaye or Ben Arfa if it meant a better manager came in.
