Yes he is, and it is my personal opinion that it isn't his beliefs that is stopping him wearing the top. It is a smokescreen to cover his reputation as he trys to get a move elsewhere. My opinion by the way.

But this opinion seems to be based on absolutely nothing.

So what, man. He's entitled to his opinion, and he's not exactly the only one saying it.

He's a grass, he's got enough on his plate. Leave him be.

I only sent it to two people, one was Look North!

Ha! I knew how that would sound but they were going to use it anyway off the internet and just wanted me to send the original to see if the quality would be better. It had already been in the papers and the internet so isn't as bad as it sounds.

Nah I know, just found it funny. FWIW I don't think you did much wrong, just obvious how the papers were going to spin it.

He did nothing wrong, and maybe just maybe the stink this has caused has lost Cisse a bit of support and he may just back down and wear the shirt. That happens then the bit of bad press for Cisse may do some good for us for a change.

Think it's more likely to drive him away personally.

I honestly think he wants away, he really struggled last season and wants out. Will we sell I dunno but he is not going to have much choice if we don'y sell him.

Skirge clearly abides by the "treat 'em mean to keep 'em keen" rule.

I am pissed off with the whole issue but any other club would have sorted this out by now, it dragging on just harms the club.

Either find a middle ground or sell him, we aint going to drip Wonga so it will be Cisse who will leave or back down.

I'm not sure what the club can do apart from sell him and that doesnt happen over night. Not sure others clubs could have done much different?

They can't really do anything, if he point blank refuses to wear anything with the Wonga logo on it then surely he will be breaking his contract ? He is not an idiot he knows dam well the club will not cannot do anything about the sponsorship deal but he had support from the Muslim community but not the casino image is out he is losing that support.

I think he may back down and play but hope to move on in January.

I'm not sure 'any other club would'. Don't forget the third party involved who are currently "consulting and meeting with experienced people within football used to dealing with equality issues who are also members of the Muslim faith".

If the PFA are still doing that as of today, I can imagine any progress will continue to be as slow as hell.

"Islam isn't about picking and choosing."

Grow your beard then, you fucking cunt.

 Is that genuinely part of the Muslim handbook?

Growing a beard in Islam is compulsory, yes.

No it isn't  you get Hassanat (good points) for it as the prophet (pbuh) is said to have had one. It's by no means compulsory.

After you die Muslims believe that you will get judged, and that judgement will decide whether you go to heaven (janaa) or hell (jihanib?) ; your good points and sins are weighed against each other like a massive pros and cons list that spans your lifetime.

Is anyone still actually buying his religion excuse?

Pretty sure some Muslim fans have already made it clear that its over the top. You play for the club and the badge - not the sponsor anyway.

If you don't want to wear something that goes against your beliefs then how can you be somewhere that goes against your beliefs? (Aspers Casino)

Disappointing from someone who actually has been very professional and I loved his attitude before this debacle.

This Islamic footballers crap is nothing more than an attention whoring scheme - you want to be religious then in all honesty you can do it whenever you wish, however not at the expense of the people paying your wages.

It's not looking good for Papiss.................but it's make or break time.

Banging an infidel: -50pts

Banging an infidel who makes a living getting her tits out: -100pts

Gambling like a Gillespie: - 50pts

Buying an ambulance: +50 pts

Making 50000 happy every so often: +50 points

Refusing to do the wonga: +100pts at stake!!

Now I get it.

C'mon Papiss lad. Refuse the Wongarites and bang those blessed virgins.
