TRon
He seemed to be enjoying himself out there, which is a change from more recent times, when he hasn't looked fully committed. The first goal was crucial, and was Cisse at his best. Hits it hard and early and not where the keeper's expecting. Now Cronky changes his tune along with College Dropout. Better late than never I suppose.
Spider Jerusalem
He's a billion times better than Riviere as his track record when we signed him told us. I'm actually delighted he did well today even though its probably totally fucked us. Same really, I can't help but love Papisto. Really? The damage he's done long term I wish he'd broken his fucking leg in warm up at the moment.
Hanshithispantz
Cisse has been so damaging to our club. His run in 2012 got us to 5th, which has given Pardew some diplomatic immunity. His poor form the following season helped to get us nearly relegated. He bails Pardew out with two goals against Hull after not scoring for thousands of minutes. He truly is the Devil. he's an absolute bastard.

Ryan_Taylor
5 months away from Pardew's training an he looks decent again. Coincidence?

Better late than never I suppose. The guy has been at best average in the last two calendar years, with several spells in which he was one of the poorest players in the first team. This is a good start to the season, but he has to keep his performances at a decent level for an extended period of time, because this has not happened for a while. Promising start today since over the last 2 years he was missing chances like that so an early confidence boost like that can't be anything but good but lets wait and see how he does over a longer period. Tachikoma
Don't be surprised if he's the next one injured. "He shouldn’t have played today, really. "My medical staff didn’t agree that he should be included today – I think he has trained five days. "But when you are experienced – myself and John [Carver] looked at each other on Thursday, I think it was, and your eye tells you sometimes that the player is fresh, he’s bright. That can't be real. IGNORE THE QUALIFIED MEDICAL STAFF, MY FACKING EYE SAYS HE'S FRESH. Knew there was something fishy about letting him come on like that :/
toontownman
The technique was literally perfect. Even if the keeper had got down and saved it, it'd still have been a good effort and our best shot of the game. Our other players shooting is dreadful, which only intensifies the need for Cisse to be playing every league game he's fit for. If he stays fit and has a 10-15 goal season, we might just scrape survival under Pardew. If not and Pardew stays... It's never going to be about his ability, he has it. It's the confidence and service that's around him. Hull were so woeful today we won't be afforded as many chances against other teams, not the way we are set up presently. Ameritoon
Happy for him. Pretty much our only chance at having someone who can score on occasion.
loki679
He's a good striker and that makes a hell of a lot of difference. Riviere has been getting similar chances and not putting them away. An in form Cisse could mean the difference between survival and relegation this season assuming we don't buy in January. Unfortunately we don't have a quality centre back to come back from injury and save our arses.

Beggars can't be choosers, it's as simple as that. His movement for the second goal was that of a natural goal scorer, and no one else in our squad has it. Greg
“I know it’s very, very hard for him,” Cisse told the Gazette. “In the video room together, he said that we had to be disciplined and work hard together as a team. “We had to forget everything else and concentrate on the pitch and play football.” That's all he said on it, hardly backing the manager.
