Honestly i hate Manyoo win the title better City win it. But i want us to win so bad against this bunch of world class players so we can show the world how good we are. I don't give a fuck for title... my team win is above anything else. Trust me atm all eyes in the world is on us. Massive popularity & attract lots of good players if we won this game. Sent message to the world we are one of the big club in premier league.

I'v never liked them as a club and one quick glance at a few of there forums sharp reminds me why.

They forever proclaim to be football's great sufferers, and if they win the title they will be righting a series of wrongs and all the hurt will be over. Enough to have you sticking fingers down your throat.

They have sold there soul to get where they are, something we'll never lose *cue dramatic music*

Pardew revealed that full-back Danny Simpson could once again miss out on Sunday as City arrive in the North-East. The ex-Manchester United man is still struggling to recover from an ankle injury which halted his ever-present top flight record on Wednesday night.

However, there is good news for Magpies fans in the midfield department. Despite suffering a nasty head wound which saw him stretchered off and receive seven stiches, Ivorian enforcer Cheick Tiote will be fit to face the Blues.

"Danny Simpson is doubtful for the game," said Pardew.

"Cheick Tiote is not doubtful, at all."

Even if Simpson were fit, after Perchinho's performance against Chelsea he would be insane to drop him.

Agreed, not in the Simpson witch hunt but the lad isn't that good to come straight back in after Perch's performance (in the way I would have Cabaye back in for Guthrie).

Sol Campbell on the FA Cup final:

Playing the final on this Saturday has also taken some sheen off the game. Don't get me wrong, Chelsea versus Liverpool at Wembley in an FA Cup final has sparkle, but it is taking place on the same weekend that the two Manchester clubs are playing in huge, title-deciding league matches, and arguably Manchester City's match at Newcastle on Sunday is the biggest of the weekend given the quality of both sides and what's at stake. So to play the Cup final now is bizarre. The fabric of the game is being stripped away and in 10 years' time we may not recognise it at all.

Great stat from .com:

Nicklas Bentdner's penalty for the mackems was the last goal United conceded a goal on home turf, since when we've gone 426 minutes unbreached.

That's longer than Harper's Championship home record isn't it?

So far this season we have taken points off Man Utd, Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, and Liverpool whilst we lost our first game with Man City earlier in the season. In fact Man City are the only team who can do the league double over us this season. That stat points to us getting something from the game.

Guest Phil K

Hope everyone stays, even if we get hammered. The lads deserve it

This is basically the game of the season.  Title, Champions League, everything, would be settled down after this match.  If we win it we would definitely beat Everton and got a top4 spot, and that will be the end of City.  Game of the season.
