Wasn't there talk of a target watching from the stands tomorrow night?

Probably bullshit, but was supposed to be Ba's replacement.

Watch us play Cisse in Ba's position, Debuchy in Cisse's RW position and Perch at RB

Bientôt, mes amis, bientôt.

From the sounds of things we could get this sorted by the week (and hopefully in time to make his debut agains Brighton). Mind you though, hope he doesn't get put off by tomorrow's game  :undecided:

Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is delighted with the imminent arrival of Lille fullback Mathieu Debuchy.

Debuchy is due at St James' Park tomorrow to complete his £5.5m move. He will be in the squad to face Brighton in the FA Cup third round on Saturday after Danny Simpson broke a toe at Arsenal last weekend.

Pardew said: "A player of his quality will boost everybody. Defensively, we are so short."

I don't know how the men of Brighton will contain themselves with him in the squad.

f*** me, is he going to be in the squad for Brighton?  I'm bringing my camera.

I doubt it. Premiership has to take priority

I think we will see Perch v Everyon and maybe Tav v Brighton
