Ketsbaia
Just fucking shoot him, put him down. He's clearly never going to play for us again. Are you arguing with Dr Pardew?
Dokko
You do have to start asking questions, the amount of injuries we get. Thing is they are always out forever, not just one match. Hatem, seemingly keeps getting near then has yet another set back, again a massive set back after being allowed to start a game. Cabaye, been out a lot this season, Tiote suffered lots of niggly injuries keep putting him out for a while. Now Debuchy, will be interesting to see how quickly he comes back, and whether he comes back too early. Last season we were lucky with injuries by our standards, but apart from that the last 10-15 years we've been fucking awful for our injury list. Under souness we looked in to the pitches, spent a lot of money changing them round so I'd imaging we've got that sorted. You then got to look at club doctors, physio, fitness coaches, dieticians and if all them are top notch, then it really is down to luck and there's nowt you can do about that apart from having a bigger squad so when you lose key players you have ones to step in, but squad depth is only something we've had in the last few weeks, so maybe the answer lies there. Hanshithispantz
I wonder if Man City only having 7 injuries and significantly less "days lost" is to do with their fitness staff and facilities? I'm guessing it plays a part, just wondering if we would be anywhere near the top of the table with the same set-up.

Mole_Toonfan
Tbf to the Mancs they did have a lot of injuries last season, one of the very few teams who can get away with it because of the depth they have.

Kanj
City did some massive audit on their facilities and such a few years ago and made numerous changes. Really wish we'd do something of the sort if we hadn't already.
Dan Gleebals
Interesting to see that 3 of the top four are so bad, you would have thought the top teams would suffer less - or at least have quicker turn around times due to better facilities etc.

Hanshithispantz
Man City have apparently done a shit load of research and redevelopment, just wondering if they've stumbled across something to prepare their players for games and such.

ExiledGeordie
Definitely, you could see how our play suffered without him and I'd hazard a guess that he would've dealt with that cross better than Santon.
