He looks bright and quick, but he's going to be a compliment to Tiote rather than a direct replacement. Tiote gives us the strength and bone crunching power that only certain players can. Would have liked to see both of them alongside Cabaye and maybe one less striker to dominate the middle but no complaints, we won.

Think of him more as the guthrie replacement or rather the guthrie "upgrade"

we couldn't have played jonas, cabs, tiote and anita all in central midfield. if we're defending a lead against spurs, the best midfield to do that is jonas, tiote and anita. moving jonas to the wing would have made our centre more vulnerable imo.

I don't really see how the centre could be vulnerable with Tiote Anita and Cabaye in there, none of them are shrinking violets.

After a nervous first touch or two, I thought he looked very bright.  Quick in thought and quick in movement as well, defended well and made a couple of excellent touches.  Promising debut.

Spot on.

Looked average, but that's fine, I doubt he's gonna be a player that comes on and changes the game, he'll be playing his part throughout.

Glad to see him, glad to have him here and glad his first app is a win.

serious ? apart from that very early touch that was 4ft too strong and dropped us in it he looked very very tidy with an eye for getting forward aswell.

Just didn't seem like he found his spot in that midfield tbf. really think he has to get a few games and weeks just to gel in and show what he can do from that DM position. We also moved Tiote up to become that offensive ballwinner with some penetration through will power. Seemed to work somewhat but in all think the team was quite off when it came to offensive play. The only one who did manage to make us play was Ben Arfa.

Hard to judge really on nothing more than a cameo.

f*** me, he's quick

This, some pace on the fella.

It was the couple of tame one-twos he did with Tiote (?) before he just turned and shot off down the wing with the ball. The last thing I was expecting him to do.

Great game to give him confidence about our club also, beating the side who finished 4th last season. Really didnt expect his pace as people have mentioned, nearly did walker on the wing at one point.
