Smal
I liked him but Santon was pretty poor 1 v 1, like. Seemed to take nearly as long as Williamson to turn at times.
AyeDubbleYoo
Our new style seems to require Anita as an absolutely key central midfield player. If he has to play RB the style we saw against Southampton won't really work.
Tiotes Witch Doctor
Santon was over rated by most, he was relatively solid but was often caught napping at the back and wasn't that good going forward either, he was capable of getting into decent positions but his final ball was more often than not non existent or poor. Better than what we have now mind but not by a million miles.
triggs
I really liked Santon, not a great full back by any means but comfortable on the ball and he seemed to really like the club. Shit decision to let him go
Sho Time
Our new style seems to require Anita as an absolutely key central midfield player. If he has to play RB the style we saw against Southampton won't really work. Agree with this, he may be the best option between him and Colback to cover the full back positions (not that that's saying much...), but putting Anita there would be to the detriment of our main gameplan and the way we appear to be setting ourselves up during games now. Mole_Toonfan
I liked him but Santon was pretty poor 1 v 1, like. Seemed to take nearly as long as Williamson to turn at times. Don't remember that tbh, he was often out of position but i don't recall many players beating him 1 v 1 like Haidara was against Southampton.
Tiresias
Anyway I'm not ready to write Haidara off for one bad showing this season, hopefully he will learn and grow, however I would also welcome a solid left back to come in, it would improve the team. Anita wise, glad he's liked by the current set up, he should help us play better footy, but still worry about a lack of creativity going forward in our midfield, Colback is atrocious at this. The College Dropout
Santon was cack a lot of the time. Out of position a lot of time. Poor positonally in general. Better than Haidara aye on the Soton performance.
Skeletor
The biggest problem with Santon, other than defensive lapses (Benfica ), was not having a left foot when playing left back. Too often he and Jonas/Gouffran just passed the ball between them aimlessly down the left hand side.
Kimbo
Santon's reputation waaaaaaay outweighs his performances.
STM
I like Santon. He was coached by a buffoon.

HawK
Didn't even have to make a sub to adjust for the red as Anita was already on the pitch. GENIUS

KaKa
YEEEEEEAAAAAAAAH! Happy for this guy. Hope he can go from strength to strength this season. Put up with so much crap from Pards, and never complained. Played a huge part in keeping us up on the last day last season too. Gwan Vurnon!

The College Dropout
I see Nigel De Jong is on his way to 100 caps fro them too. Haven't seen much of van Ginkel, is he any good? BIG shoes to fill at Stoke now that N'Zonzi has gone.
