Best was more than decent in the first part of last season and although lovenkrands didn't play much he was still used in the league cup. AND the old newcastle injury curse could always rear its ugly head once more this season leaving us with a glen roeder style season of playing the kids in loads of games. Disco Posted August 12, 2012 Share Posted August 12, 2012 Have to be a sit deep job from our defence me thinks after the WHL fiasco where Pardew momentarily forgot everything he knew about football and allowed for tactics which couldn't have made it more easy for them.
