Colo was always going to be "injured" before that useless friendly during the week.

Tiote would have been playing in Russia next week before his injury too.

Didn't know that. So that's a tactical one as well probably.

          Perch Jonas

That's our beautiful europa league line up currently as well. Could do with replacing the people that have gone at least.

Best was more than decent in the first part of last season and although lovenkrands didn't play much he was still used in the league cup.

AND the old newcastle injury curse could always rear its ugly head once more this season leaving us with a glen roeder style season of playing the kids in loads of games.

Have to be a sit deep job from our defence me thinks after the WHL fiasco where Pardew momentarily forgot everything he knew about football and allowed for tactics which couldn't have made it more easy for them.

Can see it being pretty drab/even. Two teams with players missing for one reason or another and pretty evenly matched (when we're at home)

Krul > Friedal

Walker > Simpson

Coloccini > Kaboul

Vertonghen > Saylor

BAE > Santon

HBA > Lennon

Cabaye = VDV

Tiote > Huddlestone/Livermore

Bale > Jonas

Ba = Sigurdsson

Cisse > Defoe

Got a draw written all over it on that analysis.
