No Marveaux again, either. Boo.

Has done little to deserve a slot tbh.

He's been relatively poor in the limited opportunities he's been given this season, but I'm not sure how he has managed to fall behind Sammy and Obertan.

Obertan deserved to be on the bench based on his performance on Thursday.

I agree, but he was given a huge amount of opportunities despite being consistently rubbish.

Obertan took his chance on Thursday to impress. Marveaux's shown next to nothing since we signed him.

Obertan played a part in his 33rd game on Thursday, Marveaux hasn't been given the same chance as Obertan.

This. Obertan was always on the bench even when he was worst than he is this season.

Missing Taylor and Colo was the big problem, if one of them was there perhaps the stupid errors on the corners wouldn't have happened

The moment our first choice XI isn't fully available, we look vulnerable. Today for example, our back keeper was awful and our back up centre backs poor.

Just got to hope that Krul, Taylor and Colo are all back for the mackems.

most sides will look vulnerable without their first choice cbs and gk tbh

I'm 100% not having this argument when it comes to Steven Taylor, who can basically be presumed a total permacrock until he proves otherwise.  The warning signs have been there with Taylor's fitness for a long time and we've chosen to ignore them.

I fucking despise these lot as their fans come out of the woodwork to taunt you after a result like this like they attend every home and away game.

Anybody see the 'Durham Reds' or something banner?

Remember seeing a 'Darlington Reds' bus last year too, around about the time Darlo were in the courts being wound up. Go figure eh.

I saw it, it started off on the back wall them moved towards the front at half time.

This, I don't like the sing when your winning chant particularly but it sums up their entire fanbase.

Did a load of their fans get spotted in the gallowgate?

Dunno about the gallowgate, but there was one in the Leazes end who got hoyed out for celebrating their third.  One of our fans gobbed on him as we was leaving, which didn't go down well!

Classy, hope he got escorted out aswell.

Okay, post-mortem time.

At the end of day, we were simply not good enough. We turned up much too late to properly change the game.

Despite the spirited performance in the second half, it was too little too late if we're being brutally honest. Those first 20 minutes were an absolute horror show -  the defence was all over the place and we just couldn't respond/counter Man U's attacks - their goals were definitely preventable. we missed a commanding presence in defence.

When we did eventually turn up, we did look quite decent but ultimately we just didn't have enough about ourselves to force a goal. The problem lies within the system - we don't have the proper personnel to play a 4-4-2. Until we can get a proper out and out winger, the 4-3-3 is the way to go. A very frustrating and annoying afternoon. Plus my unbeaten record at the Friendship Inn has gone and got to say, didn't feel very comfortable in there (which I guess isn't a surprise considering I was in a pub in Manchester ).

A few media outlets going with the RVP elbow, hope the c*** gets a 3 game ban. Hate him over any other Man U player, just a massive bellend and looks like a t*** too.

The day he gets crocked will be a happy day.

More than likely mainly bellends from London.

Watching a Manchester United game in Fallowfield? Not the best idea like.
