How on earth could we end up paying £7M for Anita. Carr what did he see, Ajax junior games??

Our pressing game is probably the worst in Europe. Its essential to solve this as soon as possible, from there we can build something.

He was bought as he's versatile imo.

Unfortunately for us that's where Pardew get's his tactical advice from and Ashley his player valuations.

Even if the goals were that wide, we wouldn't put any crosses in to try and score.

Why is Cisse perma-offside?

Thought he was reasonably lively tbh. Unlucky on the 'goal' that was ruled out, it was very close.

Same here.

He looked better in his preferred role, staying on the line of the last defender, but his hold-up play and linking with his team-mates was poor. It's a bit of a worry.

When he's saying 'He's not everything to this club.' what exactly are people wanting him to say? 'Fuck, might as well hit panic stations people, Hatem's injured. FUUUUUCCCCKKKK!'

On a side note, Rob Lee needs a cowboy hat. Looks like he's just dropped in from the Wild West.

So injuries robbed us of our attacking play?

If we were playing Chelsea, you might have a fucking point Alan. This was Maritimo, at home. We should be looking to put them to the sword, no matter who we put out. If we win or not is irrelevant, football offers no guarantees as to a result, but we should be at teams like this from the off and not having about half as many shots over 90 minutes as they bloody do.
