Still not sure if Redknapp's comments mean anything tbh. Edited the title though, I know everyone loves a bit of that.

Skim read the first page and thought it said we'd agreed a £2m fee

So no, I don't love a bit of that thank you very much

Redknapp said it was £2m because if they paid £8m for Remy on a 4 year contract. Someone wants loan him for a season, a quarter of that would be one year hence him pullling the £2m figure out of his arse. You could even see him working it out in his fuckwit brain. It meant nothing, the bloke has no idea obviously what it would be, seeing as yesterday he said Remy wouldn't be loaned. Rather like Pardew he can't stop talking and as with Pardew 99% is bollocks.

The thread title now is jumping the gun because of that wobbly faced arsehole.

So now Redknapp's decided that he is available for loan after all? What a card.

He didn't really say that either, it was all if and buts and him making it up as he went along. He didn't have a clue as i saw it.

Can we just go for someone else like Sinclair please.

Just leave these knuckleheads to themselves.

Between Remy, Redknapp and Fernandes it's enough to make you sick.

Bunch of Neanderthals the lot of them.

We get criticised a lot for how we conduct our transfer business but at least we tend to keep quiet about it during the negotiation phase. First Lyon's president, and now rentagob Redknapp are blabbing about deals where we are already in negotiations. It is bloody annoying but that seems to be the way these second rate clubs like to do business.

I'd pay £2m if they inserted a buy-out clause below £10m. £2m is a risk worth taking. He's a good enough player to make us a top half team playing off Cisse with Benny.

Genuinely, isn't that on the high side considering he already has an activated relegation release clause? I doubt a loan will negate that clause.

If anything, it should be lower than the reported 6.8m clause.

I think the fee would be ok, but the wages, a lot i wouldn't doubt.

There was talk of a £5 million fee wasn't there?

If we take Redkapp seriously () all that will happen is that no one will move on Remy until his court case is settled. So it all depends on how badly QPR want to keep him there. They are just trying to apply pressure publicly like the poxy small time spivs they are.

Exactly. What do you think we are, a sovereign state or something?

Didn't know about the release clause.

I think QPR are going to try and manipulate the situation so he has to play the first half of the season at QPR.

All this posturing and faffing about on their side seems to indicate this. They will then assure him he can leave in January after his case is sorted.

I hope it blows up in their faces big time.
